The Gold Coast Eye Clinic was founded in 1984 in a little house at 12 High Street Southport, with one full time and two part time staff members. Many of the original patients still attend the clinic and have become old friends we are glad to welcome back. Dr Kearney had the first ophthalmic laser centre on the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast Eye Clinic now has two lasers, each no longer than a small suitcase.

In 2005 we relocated from 34 High Street to our current location at 94 Nerang Street. We currently have five doctors; Dr Kearney, Dr Montgomery, Dr Wei, Dr Livingstone and Dr Vandeleur, along with eleven staff members.

However, our desire to give our patients the best possible eye care and a friendly caring atmosphere remains unchanged.
